On Sunday, July 12th, Ascend Performing Arts will present a marching band clinic entitled BKXperience-Perform! as part of its Ascend Education program. This clinic will be held at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium on the day of Drums Along the Rockies show (learn more) in Denver, CO from 9:00am to 5:00pm. 

Students will learn performance techniques taught by the Blue Knights as well as a selection of music to be performed alongside the members of the Denver Broncos Stampede in the opening ceremonies for the Drums Along the Rockies show immediately following the clinic. NOTE: Participating in the opening ceremonies is OPTIONAL. MUSIC: Will be sent via email with your receipt (NOTE: Music is still being finalized at this time).

The clinic is designed for ALL sections (winds, percussion, color guard, and drum major/student leaders) from ages in high school, college and up and includes:

  1. Lunch meal
  2. Dinner meal 
  3. BKX Clinic t-shirt 
  4. World Class instruction by Blue Knights Staff.

INSTRUCTIONS: STEP 1: Fill out the required fields so the office knows where to apply the payment (Member Name, Year, Program). STEP 2: Change the number "1" in the Quantity box by typing in the amount of tuition you want to make for your payment. Example: To make a $200 payment, you would type 200 in the Quantity box. NOTE: This does not go in the Message for the Office Comment box. The Quantity box will have a "1" in it. That is what where the tuition payment amount is entered. Exhibitors who would like to partake in Ascend Events event should complete the below form first, then make payment for desired table or booth. Exhibitors may SELL or PROMOTE anything in line with the performing arts event theme and is approved by Ascend Performing Arts and host facility. There are special rates for nonprofits, performing arts circuits, Ascend Partners, and Blue Knights alumni (email: exhibitor@ascendperformingarts.org). This Exhibitor Application becomes binding and effective only when:

1. An authorized agent of the exhibiting company has submitted the exhibitor application below. 2. Payment has been completed. 3. Ascend Performing Arts expressly accepts the Application via formal confirmation. 4. The person signing exhibitor application must have consent and authority to execute and legally bind the exhibitor to all of the rules & regulations.

Ascend Performing Arts will provide the following:

1. A 10′ wide by 10′ deep (or 100 square feet) booth space. 2. Three (3) personnel exhibitor badges for your staff. Additional badges may be purchased for $10 each. 3. Mentioned in the stadium event announcements by announcer or master of ceremonies. 4. Your company logo in the event program (if print deadline is met).

NOTE: Please bring your own table(s), chairs and promotional items as the host site may not be able to provide these for you. Exhibit space not claimed by one hour prior to show opening shall be considered abandoned and may be resold or reassigned with no obligation of refund whatsoever. This is the registration fee for the Blue Knights Winds Audition Clinic is open to PERCUSSION ONLY (drum set, guitar, bass guitar, and piano and synth) on Sunday, December 8th held at Martin L. King Middle School from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. This clinic is open to anyone whether or not they intend to audition for the Blue Knights Winds. Come out to make some friends, have fun, and learn some performance techniques from the Blue Knights staff. Lunch provided! (But you are welcome to bring your own)

Cost:
- $20 "Early Bird" online payment by December 1st
- $25 Pre-Payment Online after December 1st
- $30 At the door on the day of the event

--FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AT DENVER CLINICS--

All participants attending a Denver 3 day camp or PASIC audition MUST pay the ONE TIME admin fee.  This is a ONE TIME seperate fee in addition to the camp fee.  This ONE TIME non-refundable fee covers database management of all participant records, administrative support and registration supplies.

Note for participants that have already attended a 1-day clinic in another city:  1-day clinics officially count as Round One in the audition process.  However, candidates MUST attend a 3-day BKX Clinic in Denver to be offered an official spot for 2020.  A $75 ONE TIME admin fee will be charged for ALL participants attending a Denver Clinic or PASIC audition the first time.  This is a ONE TIME separate fee in addition to the Clinic fee.

  NEW THIS YEAR: The admin fee will be WAIVED for all returning Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps vets.   THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AT ANY TIME
